Mind blowing, Now the East Wellow Seven - how are the investigations going to find the West Wellow eleven who rampaged through the village and did thousands of pounds worth of gratuitous damage ?

If the car driver had given the cyclists enough room and the cyclists were riding in single file I guess there wouldn't be a 'case' for the police to investigate. Perhaps the police should reaquaint both parties with the Highway Code!

Neither of these locations are 'narrow country lanes'.Why waste Police time with these fatuous claims when there are more serious claims to be dealt with?

Teriffic! You phone up the police to say that someone has run a coin down the paintwork of your car and all they do is give you a reference number. When something like this happens, they launch a manhunt. With the rip-off rates of council tax we pay to deadwood authorities, I feel like emmigrating to a better place, that's if there is one!
